Welcome to Hola! Spanish Immersion Escuelita, your dedicated partner in mastering the Spanish language!
At Hola!, we're passionate about nurturing a love for the Spanish language in young minds. Founded by a dedicated mom, Roxana Palacios, who was born and raised in El Salvador until the age of 16, our mission is to help children become fluent in Spanish.
Roxana's passion for tutoring began while in college, she offered private tutoring and also worked with children in Watts, a lower-income, high-density neighborhood in South Los Angeles, as part of the Alpha Gamma Sigma Honor Society program at her school. As a native Spanish speaker, Roxana taught her own daughter to speak Spanish fluently from a young age. Her hard work and commitment paid off when her daughter was accepted as a native speaker into the highly desired Spanish dual immersion program at an Elementary in Redondo Beach, CA. This experience not only deepened her commitment to education but also inspired Roxana to share her knowledge with other children and families, leading to the creation of Hola!
Our Home-Based Approach
Hola! is a home-based business, which allows us to provide a more personalized and comfortable environment for your child’s language learning. We believe in the power of creating a warm, inviting space that fosters creativity and curiosity. Our cozy, home-based setting ensures that every lesson feels like a special one-on-one experience, where your child can feel at ease while learning.
Our Approach
We believe that learning a language should be fun, interactive, and engaging. After seeing many children struggle to speak Spanish outside of the classroom, Roxana was motivated to develop a play-based approach where games are used as tools to highly encourage children to speak Spanish in a relaxed and enjoyable way. We work with children in the South Bay area, including students from Dual Immersion Programs, to help them develop strong Spanish language skills that will last a lifetime.
